Wave technologies for viscosity reduction of high-viscosity oil
For PJSC Tatneft, there are ongoing developments to reduce the viscosity of high-viscosity oil using wave treatment with additives of nanoparticles. The technology allows to reduce the viscosity of oil by more than 30% with a relaxation time of more than 7 days. Currently, an experimental industrial installation for the wave impact on oil flow from 0.5 to 2.7 m3 / h, consisting of blocks with different types of wave impact (ultrasonic, magnetic and electromagnetic) has been created. The installation makes it possible to reduce the viscosity of high-viscosity oil by 5-20%, depending on the blocks used and the physicochemical properties of oil, and when using the wave impact together with nanoparticles, the unit achieves a viscosity reduction of more than 30%.
